Looking Back

Looking back after a week as a first time attendee at the REALTORS┬« Conference & Expo, hosted in San Francisco, this year’s event has far exceeded any of my expectations. The information and knowledge gathered throughout the week was extremely beneficial to my career and personal self-development. Kick starting the conference with Habitat for Humanity really set the tone by establishing the importance of a global community through such a charitable organization. Being a part of the volunteer build opened my eyes to the amount of people, from all walks of life, that are inspired to help others.

Networking among other industry experts was one of the key milestones for me at the conference. Having the opportunity to build my ties with people who are outside of my own local community and to have shared business insight is crucial to growing our own business. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet specifically with Christopher Paris, Kathy Sanford, Cami Elliott, Laurie Shulock, Felix DuVerger, Kasia Olek, and business coach Michael Sheargold. Also, attending the conference allowed for the opportunity to meet with many leading industry professionals, and for all of us not only to share our experiences, but learn from industry trends around the world. It provided us with the ability to build our networks from local to global. Attending guest speaker sessions, including one featuring Hillary Clinton, was a surreal experience. The time I had during the conference is something I will cherish and value–not only in my career, but also for my own personal growth.

It exceeded all expectations I had, and I can attest that in attending – it has kept me on my game.
