The board held its very first NAR Annual meeting this morning. We had the pleasure of having two special guests visit with our group and share some of the social media insights. Katie Lance, former director of social media at Inman News, and Laura Monroe, currently filling that role at Inman. They shared some really great ideas with our group and particularly complemented NAR for the Code of Ethics Facebook banner campaign.
Following that discussion we brainstormed on how the board can be more useful to NAR including:
- How-To’s for Leadership
- Best Practices for Membership
- Improving Engagement with Members
- Helping Committee Leaders with Communication
- Content Creation Ideas
- AND the New #powerofR Campaign
This new campaign will focus on REALTOR® members sharing the things they are doing locally on behalf of homeowners. This campaign will raise awareness of the great things members do every day to help people in their own communities. Keep your eyes peeled for more news as this campaign rolls out.
