Global Alliances Advisory Board Meeting

I’m now sitting at the Global Alliances Advisory Board meeting. I haven’t even been able to eat lunch yet, but it’s hard when you’re having so much fun. Besides, it’s mandatory. Hahaha!

The meeting started off with acknowledging our outgoing President Liaisons, our new President Liaisons, and discussing our new ambassador associations. President Liaisons are appointed by the current President of NAR to serve as the liaison to each foreign cooperating association that NAR has a relationship with. I serve as the President Liaison to South Korea for 2013, and will serve again in 2014.

Regional reports were presented, which are divided into five regions: North America/Central America/the Caribbean, South America, Asia-Pacific, Western Europe, and Central/Eastern Europe. Amazing things are happening that help promote our REALTOR® brand, alongside generating business opportunities for all of our family members in the REALTOR® world. You wouldn’t believe the amount of time and energy all the members put in to making sure that our brand is known throughout the world. We are all volunteers in our roles, and we are passionate about what we do.

I hope that your business has a global business component to it. You should reach out to any of your President Liaisons or experienced agents if you want to start doing business internationally, and definitely take a look at our REALTOR.org/Global dedicated website that we have for our members.

I gotta run to the YPN 360 meeting to pledge my promise to RPAC now! You know, the best part about all of this is that I get to meet all my friends and see all the familiar faces that you only get to see at these events. My mentors and friends from all across the world are all here. I love being here at #narannual.
