The Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) plays a big role at NAR Annual, holding business meetings, offering education, and making plenty of time for networking. This year in San Francisco, it is fitting that they call the Palace Hotel home. The Palace has been rich in tradition and history since 1887.
This morning I was part of a focus group where CRS was gathering information about members’ interests and needs to help CRS make decisions about future CRS courses as well as topics to cover in upcoming education programs. It was a lively chat, moderated by CRS Education Manager Melinda Turnley. The consensus of the group was that CRS education needs a fresh approach with more current topics, especially as they relate to technology. Change isn’t easy, but it’s necessary for the CRS brand to remain relevant.
