The Data Strategies Committee (DSC) kicked off the first day of official meetings at the 2013 REALTORS® Conference & Expo in San Francisco.

The DSC’s purpose and objective is to “focus on turning our research and analysis into a set of recommendations for action.” The recommendations could be directed to the Board, to the officers, to the strategic planning committee or any other relevant entity.

The DSC focused this year’s work on four areas:

  1. Owning the consumer relationship.
  2. Maintaining the authoritative voice for real estate data.
  3. Protecting the REALTOR® listing data.
  4. Predictive marketing applied to REALTOR® membership.

Brian Copeland is a REALTOR® in Nashville. In 2014, Brian is the the Membership Services Liaison for 2014 NAR President Steve Brown. He is a 2012 graduate of NAR Leadership Academy and has served on numerous committees and PAGs.
